My name is Bill, and I work with Campus Crusade for Christ at Penn State University. More specifically, I work with the Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF), an Epic movement. I like making and listening to music, bicycling, flying, watching sci-fi, and a lot of other things.
My role with AACF is Associate Staff. This is a volunteer position for someone who works in a university setting and is able to dedicate time to the work of Campus Crusade, but otherwise has full-time work. My full-time work is with Telecommunications and Networking Services, the department at Penn State responsible for university-wide communications services involving voice, video and data networking. In AACF, I work with four full-time staff members and, starting in fall 2008, two interns who recently graduated from PSU.
I was a student at Penn State from 1998 to 2002. During this time, I solidified my commitment to being a Christian and honoring God with my time, skills, money and other resources. I joined AACF as a student during my sophomore year. Read Why Epic? for the story.

As a staff volunteer, I work with the other staff to advise and direct what is otherwise a student-run group. I advise the praise team (see photo above: AACF praise team at the fall 2007 retreat; Bill on keyboard), meet individually with a few men in the fellowship in a mentorship role and lead Bible studies.
My own faith was strengthened and set in place in college thanks to those who gave their time to campus ministry. Now, for the time that God has called me to this place and occupation, my vision is to see students come to know Jesus Christ and develop in their faith through our work in AACF.
